Headquarters Point

Photography and video of Headquarters Point (HQ Point), a 245,000-square-foot life science campus in Sorrento Mesa, for JLL and BioScience Properties from 2024 to 2026: the campus going up, the finished buildings inside and out, and drone films of 4902 and 4910.

The brief

JLL was leasing the campus while it was still being built, so the pictures had to keep up with it. First the construction progress from the air, then a marketing video, then the finished interiors and exteriors once there was something to walk through. BPI booked us separately for an event on site.

What we made

• A construction update video from two evening flights, May 2024
• Event photography for BPI at the Mirador event, July 2024
• A marketing video, March 2025
• Interior and exterior photography of both buildings, ground and drone, August 2025
• A drone film for each building, March 2026

On the evenings

The construction update video was flown over two evenings, 5 to 8pm and then 6 to 8pm, and cut from both. The photography came later, once the buildings were finished: the amenity spaces and suites inside, the glass and the landscape outside, and the campus from above.
